Fresh food is not always available during this time. People are challenged with being home and eating. I typically plan customized meal plans based on my clients’ health history along with their personal lifestyle and goals. Yet with so many reaching out saying they feel out of control… this is meal plan created for now with special reasons in mind.
This meal plan Help I’m Eating Everything in Sight: Quarantine Meal Plan is a delicious 7-day meal plan that can be made mostly from pantry staples. The plan is filled with flavor and nutrients while also being accessible and affordable. You may want to just use a few recipe ideas or try the whole plan.
Three Reasons This Plan Can Keep You from Overeating:
1. Increase Serotonin Production: The carbohydrates help to increase serotonin. This is a neurotransmitter that your body makes to provide a sense of calm, improve mood, regulate appetite and digestion. Your body naturally has a powerful drive to reach for carbs during times of stress to make more serotonin.
2. More Fiber: The plan is high in fiber which will make you feel fuller. Be sure to drink extra water when you increase fiber in your diet! This will keep you fuller as well.
3. Hello Mindfulness: Research shows following a meal plan makes you less likely to reach for food since you have more structure. This structure helps you to stay more mindful.
What is Included:
Meal Plan Guide: There is a visual meal plan guide. It is a day by day layout of the foods/recipes to eat. Simply cook once, and add the meal to your plan again later on in the week as a leftover. You will see the leftovers on the daily meal plan with a transparency over it. This will help you save time and money by using leftovers. You do not need to start in on a Sunday, just use the suggestions as a guide.
Grocery Shopping List: When you go to the store, you want to get in and out. This grocery list will save you time. You can also use it to order your food online.
Recipes and Nutrition Information: You will see each recipe in the meal plan along with the nutrition information per serving. This plan averages 1900 calories per day which may be higher than you need for weight loss yet you may be eating well over 2000 calories right now if you are reaching for all kinds of food. Right now, we may want to maintain weight. You can also just enjoy the recipes you like without using the entire plan.
